By
day, they are attorneys or students, boat captains, managers and social
workers.
Some are retired, now dedicated to creative
pursuits they once put on hold.
In
the evening workshops,

of wonder in the world around them.
They read the work of poets who illuminate
the ordinary, and they write their own poems, exploring and documenting
their lives,
aware of the power of language.
